OUTSTANDING BBQ!!!! By far the best I have found anywhere in Alaska. The flavors take me back in time to the BBQ I had in the south. The sauce is so damn good you could stick a straw in it and finish it off. I use to come here after fishing on Cheney lake for the pulled brisket sandwich and loved it. I had the 12oz pulled pork plate or lunch yesterday and was licking the container. The plate was 12.50 and more than enough food for 2 people. I can’t wait to go back!!!! Smokehouse BBQ is a bit of a hidden gem for being located on the roadside and in the parking lot of a Shell gas station. Great place for a reasonably priced BBQ sandwich. The sides are really tasty and are a nice complement to some good meat. Definitely worth a try if you are craving BBQ in the Anchorage area! — Bob B, Golden, CO
